Chain Chon Industrial Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2020. For the third quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 3,889.888 million compared to TWD 4,216.707 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 204.932 million compared to TWD 97.832 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 1.24 compared to TWD 0.59 a year ago. For the nine months, sales was TWD 9,920.993 million compared to TWD 11,647.167 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 97.488 million compared to net loss of TWD 21.075 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.6 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of TWD 0.11 a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.59 compared to basic loss per share of TWD 0.13 a year ago.
Chain Chon Industrial Co., Ltd. is principally engaged in the manufacture and distribution of stainless steel products. The Company mainly operates through three business segments. The Cutting Processing segment is mainly engaged in the cutting, processing and trading of stainless steel plates and stainless steel round bars. The Pipes Processing segment is mainly engaged in the manufacture and sales of stainless steel pipes. The Others segment is engaged in the sales of other stainless steel products, including angle irons and channel steels. The Company is also involved in the provision of other stainless steel processing services and surface processing services, including the polishing, shearing, roller bending services. The Company mainly operates its businesses in Taiwan, the rest of Asia and the Americas.
