Canoe Mining Ventures Corp. is engaged in the acquisition, exploration, evaluation and development of principally gold resource properties in Canada. The Company's primary focus is the exploration of its property in Northern Ontario, Canada, as well as the identification and evaluation of prospective opportunities of merit. The Company has a 100% interest in the Kerrs Gold Property, which consists of over 12 mining leasehold patents located in the Larder Lake Mining Division of Ontario. It also has an option to acquire a 100% interest in 87 mineral exploration claims in Butt Township, District of Nipissing in the Province of Ontario.
