DEMISE OF EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN AND GROUP CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Further to the announcement made on 14 September 2015, the board of directors (the "Board") of C&G Environmental Protection Holdings Limited (the "Company") announces with great sadness that Mr. Lin Yan ("Mr. Lin"), Executive Chairman and Group Chief Executive Officer has passed away on 4 February 2016.

Mr. Lin had been appointed to the Board since 9 February 2010. He was appointed as Group Chief Executive Officer in August 2010 and assumed the additional role of Executive Chairman in March 2011. Mr. Lin was also a member of the Nominating and Remuneration Committees.

On behalf of all staff of the Company and its subsidiaries (collectively, the "Group"), the Board expresses its deepest sorrow over the death of Mr. Lin and conveys its condolences to his family. The Board also expresses its deepest gratitude for the enormous contribution to the Group by Mr. Lin over the past decades.

In line with plans set out by the Board, Mr. Lam Chik Tsan ("Mr. Lam"), Executive Director of the Company, who was appointed as the Acting Executive Chairman and Acting Group Chief Executive Officer on 25 September 2015, will be appointed as the Executive Chairman and Group Chief Executive Officer with immediate effect, to ensure continuity of operations of the Group.

The information pursuant to Rule 704(7) of the Listing Manual of the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited in relation to Mr. Lam's appointment will be contained in a separate announcement released today.
