Paris, September  25, 2014 -

Bull announces novascale gcos 7015, its new range of enterprise servers for critical environments. The new solutions enable organizations to tackle the explosion of data to be processed and the massive number of new applications in the Data Center. When it comes to gcos applications, the novascale gcos 7015 facilitates unprecedented performance and ensures that they are sustainable in the long term.

Better performance to support users

As the result of Bull's engineers work on critical systems, the new generation of novascale gcos 7015 servers benefits from a double dynamics with a performance 50% higher than previous generations of gcos servers:

  • At hardware level, with the additional benefits of an entirely new architecture designed and developed by Bull, featuring the new Intel® Xeon® E7 V2 processor family

  • And at software level, with the new features of gcos version 12.

"These innovations, developed by our engineers, are the result of continuous investment in our R&D, they are the result of our daily contacts with our gcos users," underlined Olivier Gaumont, Director of Bull's Data Center Business Unit.

Managing the economic equation for best results

The new novascale gcos 7015 mainframe-class systems set the standard when it comes to quality of service, availability and consolidation. With their new features - the result of constant innovation and concentration of resources -, they provide immediate cost optimization as well as significant energy savings.
