BRYN MAWR, Pa. (AP) _ Bryn Mawr Bank Corp. (BMTC) on Thursday reported fourth-quarter earnings of $15.5 million.

The bank, based in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, said it had earnings of 78 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring gains, came to 77 cents per share.

The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 62 cents per share.

The bank holding company posted revenue of $60.4 million in the period. Its revenue net of interest expense was $57 million, also beating Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $55.5 million.

For the year, the company reported profit of $32.6 million, or $1.63 per share. Revenue was reported as $225.8 million.

Bryn Mawr Bank shares have climbed nearly 9% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $33.24, a decrease of 16% in the last 12 months.
