Diversified contractor Brierty Limited (ASX: BYL) wishes to advise that its Chief Financial Officer Troy Buswell has elected to resign to take-up a role in the private company sector.

Mr Buswell joined Brierty in October 2014 and was promoted to CFO in April 2016. He will remain at the Company until the end of August before commencing his new role.

Brierty Chairman Dalton Gooding said: "Troy has been instrumental in delivering on Brierty's turnaround strategy, particularly securing a new, long-term debt facility that has significantly improved the Company's capital structure as well as developing enhanced project reporting mechanisms.

"On behalf of the team I want to thank Troy for his service to Brierty and wish him the very best in his future endeavours in his new role."

Brierty has commenced an executive search process to appoint a replacement CFO.
