McLean, Virginia - Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH) announced today that the firm won 12 competitive contracts in the military health space, totaling more than $55 million in funded work and ceilings. The awards, all won since September 1, include multiple contracts across the military health system including the Departments of the Navy, Air Force and Army, as well as the Defense Health Agency. The wins underscore the firm's long-term commitment to military health providers and the service members - and families - they serve.

Booz Allen will act as the prime contractor on eight of the contract awards won. As a long-time advocate for small businesses, the firm will also serve as a subcontractor for four assignments. Wins include:

  • Defense Centers of Excellence (DCoE) - three contracts including strategic planning and operations support, foundational science & gap scan support and population health based program translation support services
  • Defense Health Agency (DHA) - focusing on infrastructure support
  • Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery (BUMED) - IDIQ for process improvement; first task awarded in optimizing inventory management in the Navy's Military Treatment Facilities
