Boeing announces that it has won a contract to build 15 additional KC-46A Pegasus aerial refueling tankers for the US Air Force, a contract worth $2.3 billion.

'153 KC-46A Multi-Mission Aerial Refueling Tankers are now under contract worldwide, offering advanced capability advantages to the Joint Force and allies', the aircraft manufacturer points out.

"Whether it's in-flight refueling, cargo and passenger transport, aeromedical evacuation support or data connectivity at the tactical edge, the KC-46A Pegasus has already been described as a 'game changer'," it continues.
