The Bank of Moscow is recognised as a leader in SME loans portfolio growth rate based on a survey of Expert RA Rating Agency

The 10th Annual Conference 'Finance to Growing Business - 2015' organized by Expert RA Rating Agency took place in Moscow.

The Conference hosted the awards ceremony for banks - market leaders in SME crediting, according to a survey of Expert RA Rating Agency. The Bank of Moscow has become the winner in the 'Leader in SME Loans Portfolio Growth Rate' nomination. An increase of this indicator for 2014 amounted to 24.6% (comparing with a decrease of SME crediting market by 0.9%, according to the data of the Bank of Russia). This nomination has been won by the Bank of Moscow for the second year in a row.

"The recognition of the Bank of Moscow as a market leader in SME loans portfolio growth rate once again proves that we have chosen the right strategy for our development, - commented Yekaterina Orlova, Director of SME Department of the Bank of Moscow, - But for us, the opinion of our clients, choosing the Bank of Moscow as their financial partner, is much more important. The Bank actively participates in state programs of SME support and promotes the development of this important segment of the economy".

The conference was attended by representatives of leading Russian banks, insurance, leasing and factoring companies, state bodies officers, SME subjects, as well as mass media representatives.

The following issues were discussed at the conference: strategies of banks in slowing market - the best business practices in the SME segment, prospects of implementation of government measures to stimulate SMEs crediting in 2015, decrease of payment discipline among SME borrowers, prospects of SME crediting market growth in 2015-2016 and others.
