Funds of The Blackstone Group L.P. (NYSE:BX) entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Tradesmen International, LLC from Wellspring Capital Management LLC on January 3, 2017. The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2017. Robert W. Baird & Co and Steve Lipman, Adam Reeder, Dan Skolds and Jonathan Slaughte of Rothschild acted as financial advisors and Angelo Bonvino of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP acted as legal advisor to Tradesmen International. Deutsche Bank acted as financial advisor and Elizabeth Cooper, Leah Baucom, Max Corey, Alden Millard, Makiko Harunari, Greg Grogan, Patricia Adams, Monisha Bhayana, Gary Mandel, Sophie Staples, John Torrenti, Michael Isby, Timothy Mulvihill, Lori Lesser, Linda Nyberg, Steven DeLott, Michael Naughton, Ellen Frye, Kenneth Ehrhard and Ashley Yoon of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP acted as legal advisors to Blackstone Group.
