Collaborating with Billion Watts, Evertexbuilt the largest individual PV power station in Northern Taiwan. The 1.5MW site will include two solutions, a 1,260kW system utilizing SolarEdge DC optimized inverters and a 240kW system utilizing Billion's string-level solar PV monitoring system. The entire system will enjoy
with 20 years professional O&M service provided by Billion Watts.BillionWatts also announces a Taiwanese distribution agreement with SolarEdge, a global leader in inverters, PV system optimization, and smart energy management solutions, and plans to accomplish 10MW PV installed capacity in 2017.
Consisting of inverters, power optimizers, storage solutions, and a cloud-based monitoring platform, the SolarEdge system enables superior power harvesting and module management by deploying power optimizers to the module-level while maintaining a competitive system cost by keeping the AC inversion and grid interaction centralized at simplified inverter. SolarEdge technology increases power production through module-level maximum power point tracking (MPPT), enables optimal roof utilization through design flexibility, decreased BoS costs with longer strings, superior safety with DC level shutdown, and improved O&M with module-level monitoring and remote troubleshooting.
