Blockbuster Video announced that its video store at 5413 Monona Drive in Monona will be closed on June 17, 2012. The closing is the latest of several area Blockbuster stores to be shuttered, as the company moves to an electronic delivery model. The company's Sun Prairie store, at 2111 McCoy Road, will be the only remaining one in Dane County. Stores in Fitchburg, Middleton and Madison already have closed.
