Barco : Mr. Luc Missorten resigns as director of the Board of Barco NV

In light of the more flexible corporate governance rules recently enacted, the Board of Directors had proposed to requalify Mr. Luc Missorten as independent director, despite his long-lasting tenure with the Company.

Mr. Missorten' s requalification as independent director appears not to have received sufficient support at the 2020 shareholders meeting. As a consequence, additional challenges could arise for the re-appointment of other directors and subsequently the composition of the board committees. In the best interest of the company, Mr. Missorten has therefore decided not to complete his mandate, set to expire in 2021, and to resign as director of the Company effective April 9^th, 2020. Mr. Luc Missorten will continue to provide his support as senior advisor to the company.

Luc Missorten has been a member of the Board of Directors for nearly 12 years, has chaired Barco's audit committee since 2010 and was also member of the remuneration and nomination committee.
The company and the Board wish to express their greatest admiration for his many years of loyal service and highly valued contributions to the development of the Company, successfully supporting the management team and playing a constructive role in the board and in Barco's committees. Luc Missorten has always put the interests of Barco before his own, and the company looks forward to continuing to benefit from his experience and wisdom as advisor to the Company.
