Baloise successfully issues a CHF senior bond

Basel, May 14, 2024. Today, Baloise Holding Ltd successfully placed a CHF 150 million senior bond with maturity in June 2034.
Today, Baloise successfully issued a 10-year senior bond with a coupon of 1.75% for a total size of CHF 150 million. The bond was issued by Baloise Holding Ltd, which is rated "A-" with a stable outlook by Standard & Poor's. Like all outstanding senior bonds of Baloise Holding Ltd, the bond itself carries no instrument rating.
The proceeds from the issuance of the bond will be used for general corporate purposes.
The bond will be listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange and will settle on June 7, 2024.
UBS and Deutsche Bank acted as Joint Lead Managers, Bank J. Safra Sarasin as Co-Manager.
