NEDRE VATS, Norway - May 16th, 2024 - AutoStore™, the leading technology company in automated warehouse solutions, is proud to announce the unveiling of its state-of-the-art demo Grid at the recently renovated DHL Asia Pacific Innovation Center (APIC) in Singapore. This milestone is a continuation of the already strong collaboration with DHL, fostering innovation in order fulfillment logistics across the Asia Pacific region.

Starting January 2024, visitors to APIC can experience the future of warehousing firsthand, with AutoStore's R5 Pro Robot™ and ConveyorPort™ in action. This interactive showcase mirrors the successful implementation at the DHL Europe Innovation Center in Germany and is designed to highlight the speed and performance AutoStore solutions bring to modern logistics operations.

Philipp Schitter, VP of APAC Business Development at AutoStore, remarked on the collaboration, "We are thrilled to present our logistics innovations at APIC, illustrating our shared commitment to address industry challenges and to shape the future of logistics. Our appreciation for the collaboration with DHL cannot be overstated - it is a collaboration that continues to build upon our very positive relations and mutual dedication to excellence."

APIC is a hub for transformative ideas and innovative solutions, strategically located in the dynamic and forward-thinking environment of Singapore. The center exemplifies the fusion of Asia's passion for technology with DHL's vision for a new era in logistics. It's a place where the synergy of industry innovators can lead to remarkable operational strategies and technological advancements.

This collaboration announcement comes on the heels of the previously disclosed expansion of the collaboration between DHL Supply Chain and AutoStore. With over 1,000 Robots enhancing operational efficiency across nine AutoStore projects in Australia, Singapore, Poland, the US, and Germany, in 2024, and with more in the pipeline, the collaboration is a testament to the success of AS/RS technology in transforming warehouse operations globally.

DHL Supply Chain and AutoStore are committed to further automating warehousing, with plans for additional facilities that embrace the innovative AS/RS technology. These solutions are tailored to meet the needs of businesses dealing in smaller items, prevalent in e-commerce and sectors like fashion and technology.

"We believe in fostering an environment that supports innovation and so we connect our customers to our ecosystem to explore potential proof of concepts for their supply chain challenges. Our hope in showcasing AutoStore at APIC, is to bring together industry change-makers and invite them to collaborate and revolutionize warehouse logistics with scalable, adaptable, and efficient solutions," added Yi Ning Tay, Head of DHL's Asia Pacific Innovation Center.
