    WHAT:        DIRECTV, now part of the AT&T (NYSE:
                 T) family, has launched a Severe
                 Weather/News Mix channel dedicated
                 to coverage of a dangerous winter
                 storm that is bringing strong winds
                 and blizzard conditions to the mid-
                 Atlantic and portions of the
                 Northeastern United States today.


                The six-in-one Weather/News Mix
                 Channel will provide national storm
                 coverage from: WeatherNation, The
                 Weather Channel, CNN, Fox News,
                 MSNBC and a channel dedicated to
                 local and regional coverage from
                 select affiliates in the affected
                 area. The channel will initially
                 offer WJLA (ABC) in Washington D.C.,
                 and alternate with WRLH (FOX) in
                 Richmond. All channels will appear
                 on one screen and each channel is
                 selectable via remote for full
                 screen viewing.


    WHERE/WHEN:  The Weather/News Mix channel will be
                 available until 7 p.m. ET today on
                 channel 361-1 and will switch to
                 local/regional channel coverage
                 only, on channel 361-2. The Weather/
                 News Mix will return at 6 a.m. ET
                 the following day on channel 361-1.
