Apollo Global Management, LLC (NYSE:APO) and KKR & Co. L.P. (NYSE:KKR) are reportedly in talks to acquire Origin Energy Limited (ASX:ORG) upstream energy assets, which are mooted for a listing on the Australian Securities Exchange later in 2017 to form a new company worth at least $1.5 billion.
