Amrest : RB 16/2017 Preliminary sales results Q4 2016

AmRest Holdings SE ('AmRest') informs that the preliminary sales generated by the AmRest Group ('Group') in Q4 2016 amounted to PLN 1 213m, which was a 32.2% increase compared to the corresponding period of 2015. Group's sales in local currencies increased by 29.2%.

Growth of Group's revenues in Q4 2016 was additionally supported by consolidation of results of Starbucks chain in Germany acquired on 23rd May 2016 (PLN 143m sales in Q4 2016). Excluding sales of Starbucks Germany, the revenues of the Group in Q4 2016 grew by 16.6%.

The sales results of CE division amounted to PLN 628m in Q4 2016 and were 14.6% higher compared to Q4 2015. Total sales generated in this division in local currencies increased by 13.3%.

The revenues of Russian division amounted to PLN 135m in Q4 2016 and were 33.5% higher compared to the corresponding period of 2015. In local currency sales grew by 22.1%.

The revenues of Western Europe division in Q4 2016 amounted to PLN 379m, which was higher by 83.8% compared to Q4 2015 (78.9% growth in local currency).

Sales of the Spanish market, reported within the segment of Western Europe, amounted to PLN 228m in Q4 2016, which was 15.4% higher than year ago (+12.3% in local currency).

In China revenues amounted to PLN 60m in Q4 2016, which was a 14.3% increase over the year. In local currency it represented a growth of 17.1%.

Revenues reported under Unallocated segment equaled PLN 12m and were 15.7% higher than year ago.
