Aminologics Co.,Ltd. is a Korea-based company mainly engaged in the manufacture and distribution of image processing chips for digital video recorders (DVRs). The Company operates its business through in two divisions: information technology (IT) division and amino acid division. Its IT division engages in the manufacture of DVR system-on-chips (SoCs), analog and digital integrated chips, multiplexer and display chips, color quad chips, video codec, peripheral component interconnect (PCI) one chips and others. Its amino acid division produces unnatural amino acids, which are used for pharmaceutical development. On July 29, 2013, the Company sold its entire shares of U-CHANG PLANT CONSTRUCTION CO., LTD. On December 23, 2013, Sam-Oh Pharm Co Ltd became the largest shareholder of the Company by acquiring a 16.67% stake in the Company.
