Alm. Brand A/S announced earnings results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2020. For the third quarter, the company announced total revenue was DKK 1,996 million compared to DKK 2,078 million a year ago. Net income was DKK 235 million compared to DKK 125 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was DKK 1.5 compared to DKK 0.8 a year ago. For the nine months, total revenue was DKK 6,114 million compared to DKK 6,313 million a year ago. Net income was DKK 549 million compared to DKK 424 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was DKK 3.6 compared to DKK 2.7 a year ago.
ALM. Brand A/S is a Denmark-based holding company engaged in the provision of insurance and financial services. The Companyâs activities are divided into three business areas: non-life insurance, which offers a range of insurance products, which focus primarily on the personal, commercial and agricultural segment; banking, providing deposit and lending products, pensions and home finance, as well as investment consultancy; and life insurance and pension, which provides corporate pension plans, pension savings, as well as insurance cover, including death, disability and critical illness cover.
