Ahlstrom's Disruptor(TM) PAC, a leading nonwoven technology for the
filtration of water, has been nominated as one of the five finalists
for INDA's 2009 Visionary Award, which is given annually to a new
consumer product utilizing a nonwoven fabric in its final form. The
winner of the INDA Visionary Award will be presented during VISION
2009 Consumer Products Conference in the USA in January 2009. INDA is
the trade association representing the nonwoven fabrics industry
since 1968.

Ahlstrom's Disruptor(TM) PAC is a nonwoven, wet laid filter media
that is based on nanoalumina fiber technology. Disruptor(TM) offers
many benefits for consumer product water purification products,
including refrigerators, tap filters, shower filters, counter top
filters, under sink filters, prefilters to home reverse osmosis (RO)
filters, water pitchers, water coolers and spa filters.

The nanoalumina fiber technology used in the product is licensed
exclusively from the Argonide Corporation. This technology can
economically improve the purity and taste of nearly any water stream
by efficiently removing a large variety of contaminants including
virus, bacteria and humic compounds.

There are currently more than 10 companies around the world
developing innovative point of use consumer products that incorporate
Ahlstrom's Disruptor(TM) PAC as the active ingredient.
