Aeon Kyushu Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the year ended February 28, 2017. For the year, the company reported operating revenue of ¥236,410 million. Operating income was ¥779 million, Ordinary income was ¥947 million and net income was ¥408 million.
AEON KYUSHU CO.,LTD. is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the general retail business and the home center business in the Kyushu region. The Company operates in two business segments. The General Retail segment is engaged in the sale of clothing products, food, as well as information communication equipment, cosmetics, drugs, miscellaneous daily goods, bedclothes, bath products and other housing leisure related products, and the operation of general merchandise stores (GMS) under the names of AEON and AEON SUPERCENTER. The Home Center segment is engaged in the sale of construction materials, lumber, repairing materials, household goods, pets supplies, garden supplies, as well as the operation of home centers (HC) under the names of HOME WIDE and Super Wide Mart. The Company is also engaged in the sale of food, pharmaceuticals and bicycle related products.
