ROME (Reuters) - Adrian Appiolaza has been named Moschino's new creative director, announces luxury group Aeffe, which owns the brand.

Appiolaza - for ten years Women's Ready-to-Wear Design Director at Loewe alongside J.W. Anderson, and before that, in the same role, at Chloé with Clare Waight Keller - will oversee the Maison's women's, men's and accessories collections, reporting to Aeffe Spa executive chairman Massimo Ferretti.

The designer will make his debut with the Fall/Winter 2024 women's collection, which will run on Feb. 22 at 6 p.m. at the Museo della Permanente during Milan Fashion Week.

"We are happy and honored to welcome Adrian to the Aeffe family. With his arrival at Moschino, Adrian brings with him a unique baggage of creativity and knowledge of fashion history that will allow him to write a wonderful new chapter in the adventure of the brand founded by Franco Moschino," Ferretti commented.
