APPOINTMENT OF NON-EXECUTIVE AND INDEPENDENT DIRECTOR AND

CHANGES IN THE COMPOSITION OF THE BOARD COMMITTEES

The board of directors (the "Board" or "Directors") of Advanced Systems Automation Limited (the "Company" and together with its subsidiaries, the "Group") wishes to announce the appointment of Mr Chong Man Sui ("Mr Chong") as a non-executive and independent director of the Company.

1. APPOINTMENT OF NON-EXECUTIVE AND INDEPENDENT DIRECTOR
2. 1. 
      Mr Chong has been appointed as a non-executive and independent director of the Company with effect from 30 August 2021.
      The detailed template announcement pursuant to Rule 704(6) of the Listing Manual - Section
   2. Rules of Catalist ("Catalist Rules") of the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited ("SGX-ST"), containing the particulars of Mr Chong has been released separately via SGXNet.
3. APPOINTMENT OF BOARD COMMITTEE MEMBER

   Mr Chong has also been appointed as a member of the Chairman of the Nominating
   Committee ("NC") and member of the Audit Committee ("AC") and the Remuneration
   Committee ("RC") of the Company, with effect from 30 August 2021.
   The Board considers Mr Chong to be independent pursuant to Rule 704(7) of the Catalist Rules.
5. CHANGES IN THE COMPOSITION OF THE BOARD AND BOARD COMMITTEES

Consequent to the abovementioned appointments, the composition of the Board shall be as follows with effect from 30 August 2021:
