BLG Logistics Group AG & Co. KG agreed to acquire 51% stake in Motex Mode-Textil-Service Logistik Und Management GmbH from Adler Modemärkte AG (DB:ADD) on July 20, 2015. BLG will acquire the remaining 49% in Motex at the end of 2019.

By then, Adler Modemärkte will remain as a minority partner. Thomas Krüger from the BLG Retail Logistics Board of Management, along with Markus Buckow will head the joint venture BLG Sports & Fashion Logistics GmbH in future created as a part of transaction. The transaction still requires, among other things, clearance by the antitrust authorities.
