Filing of Registration Statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission for the Company's Securities Program and Php-denominated ASEAN Green Fixed Rate 5-year Bond

Background/Description of the Disclosure

Further to the disclosure dated 6 July 2022, please be informed that the Company filed a Registration Statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission ("SEC") covering the Company's three-year shelf registration of up to Thirty Billion Pesos (Php30,000,000,000.00) debt securities to be offered in one or more tranches under a debt securities program to be registered with the SEC (the "Securities Program") and the proposed public offer and sale in the Philippines of ASEAN Green fixed-rate bonds in the aggregate principal amount of up to Ten Billion Pesos (Php10,000,000,000.00), to be issued as the first tranche under the Securities Program (the "Bonds"). The Company has also requested for confirmation from the SEC that the Bonds qualify as an ASEAN Green Bond. A REGISTRATION STATEMENT RELATING TO THESE SECURITIES HAS BEEN FILED WITH THE SECURITIES AND EXCHANGE COMMISSION, BUT HAS NOT YET BECOME EFFECTIVE.
