AO Smith Corp. announced earnings results for the fourth quarter ended December 31, 2018. For the fourth quarter, the company announced sales was USD 812.5 million compared to USD 768.6 million a year ago. Net income was USD 126.3 million compared to USD 22.7 million a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was USD 0.74 compared to USD 0.13 a year ago. For the full year, sales was USD 3,187.9 million compared to USD 2,996.7 million a year ago. Net income was USD 444.2 million compared to USD 296.5 million a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was USD 2.58 compared to USD 1.7 a year ago.
