This announcement is made on a voluntary basis by Silverman Holdings Limited (the "Company", together with its subsidiaries, the "Group") to provide the shareholders of the Company and potential investors an update on the latest business developments of the Group.

The board of directors of the Company (the "Board") is pleased to announce that on 13 August 2017, "The Adoption (領養)", a large-scale television series with 44 episodes which was invested and produced by Beijing Huasheng Taitong Media Investment Company Limited (北京華晟泰通傳媒投資有限公司), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Group, premiered on CCTV-8.

Through the unique perspectives of "adoption" and "family reunions", "The Adoption" depicts a touching story of an American divorced mother who has an adopted daughter with leukemia travels across countries to look for the adopted daughter's biological parents.

The television drama series is the work of Mr. Meng Fanyao (孟凡耀) as the executive filmmaker, Mr. Pan Hongye (潘洪業) as the executive producer, Ms. Li Ni (李妮) as the director, and Ms. Li Wa (李娃) as the screenwriter, and features veteran actors including Anita Yuen (袁詠儀), Ding Haifeng (丁海峰), Myolie Wu (胡杏兒) and Pu Cunxin (濮存 昕).

The Adoption, as the first television drama in China which is based on the theme of cross-national adoption, has won the "Golden Angels Award for Outstanding Chinese TV Drama (優秀中國電視劇金天使獎)" at The 12th China US Film Festival held in November 2016 and was sold abroad to countries including Malaysia, Vietnam, Cambodia and Brunei.

The Board believes that the launch of "The Adoption" will further enhance the reputation of the Company's film and television business, and thus reinforcing such business of the Company. Leveraging on its established track record in producing films and television dramas, the Company will continue its efforts to explore further opportunities in the film, television and media industry.
