1st Source : Celebrates Grand Opening in Kalamazoo

Kalamazoo, MI -1st Source Bank celebrated the grand opening today of a new banking center located at 200 West Michigan Avenue in downtown Kalamazoo.

1st Source Bank President Jim Seitz joined City President Lanny Scoby and Banking Center Manager Tara Steele at the ribbon cutting ceremony. Claudia Wink-Basing, Executive Director of InterAct of Michigan also attended and was presented a $500 donation to assist with their mission of providing mental health and substance abuse treatments that foster hope and wellness.

'We are excited to celebrate the grand opening of our new downtown location,' said Scoby. 'With this new office and our recently opened banking center on Centre Avenue in Portage, we are conveniently located near where so many of our clients live and work.'

The banking center also features side-by-side banking, in which bankers are beside clients instead of behind a teller line, sharing their workspace, computer screen and up-to-the-minute financial data with clients both securely and privately. The new banking center also features a coffee station, a customer convenience center with a computer and iPad, fax machine and shredder, as well as a children's area and 24-hour walk-up ATM.
