HANOI, Oct 29 (Reuters) - Vietnam's coffee exports in the first ten months of this year are expected to show a 1.3% drop from a year earlier to 1.34 million tonnes, and rice exports will likely post a 4.0% fall, government data released on Thursday showed.

COFFEE

Coffee exports from Vietnam are estimated to have fallen 1.3% in the first ten months of this year from a year earlier to 1.34 million tonnes, equal to 22.3 million 60-kg bags, the General Statistics Office said in a report on Thursday.

Coffee export revenue for Vietnam, the world's biggest producer of the robusta bean, will likely show a 0.7% drop to $2.3 billion in the ten-month period, the report said.

The country's coffee shipments in September are estimated at 90,000 tonnes valued at $167 million, it said.

RICE

Rice exports in the first ten months of this year from Vietnam were forecast to have dropped 4.0% from a year earlier to 5.29 million tonnes.

Revenue from rice exports in the period was expected to rise 8.2% to $2.61 billion.

October rice exports from Vietnam, one of the world's largest shippers of the grain, totalled 300,000 tonnes, worth $161 million

ENERGY

Vietnam's Jan-Oct crude oil exports were seen rising 28.1% from the same period last year to an estimated 4.34 million tonnes.

Crude oil export revenue in January to October is expected to fall 16.4% to $1.45 billion.

Oil product imports in the first ten months were estimated at 10.2 million tonnes, up 51.6% from the same period last year, and the value of product imports rise 4.7% to $3.34 billion .
