lynda.com, an online education company with more than four million individual and enterprise members worldwide, today announced the addition of several new executives in management, product, technology and business development roles. The new hires will help lynda.com expand its global reach, enrich its content library and enhance user experience for the company, which provides the latest training in software, creative and business skills.

The new executives joining lynda.com include:

Alex Zivoder joins lynda.com as vice president and managing director of EMEA. Zivoder brings a rich background in international business strategy and execution and in scaling ecommerce businesses in nascent markets. Prior to joining lynda.com, he was COO/MD Europe at viagogo, senior vice president at Expedia and managing director at Tele2 Group. Zivoder earned a PhD in economics at Nice Sophia Antipolis University, France and a post-graduate degree in statistics from ENSAE Paris, France.

Shveta Mujumdar has been named vice president of corporate development for lynda.com. Mujumdar was most recently with QuinStreet, where she led the company's corporate development efforts. She has also worked in corporate strategy at Live Nation/Ticketmaster and was an investment banker with Goldman Sachs. She holds an MBA from UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business and a master's and bachelor's in economics from the University of Southern California.

Ken Sandy joins lynda.com as vice president of product. Sandy is a 16-year veteran in consumer Internet product management spanning education, mobile, digital media, ecommerce and search. He led product teams at fast-growth and startups companies building rich-media content and advertising platforms, mobile messaging and social networking solutions, and led business units in the US and China. Sandy is a Berkeley Industry Fellow through UC Berkeley's Center for Entrepreneurship & Technology, where he teaches product management. He is an alumnus of the University of Melbourne, Australia.

Michael Lydon has been named vice president of technology operations for lynda.com. Lydon joins lynda.com from ValueClick, where he was vice president of technology operations and responsible for managing the global technology infrastructure supporting various business units. Prior to ValueClick, he was senior manager of operations for Microsoft. Lydon holds a BS in business management from the University of Phoenix and an MBA from Pepperdine University.
