RE-ORGANISATION OF GROUP STRUCTURE

Pursuant to Paragraph 9.19(5) of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad Main Market Listing Requirements, YTL Corporation Berhad ("YTL Corp") wishes to announce that YTL Hotels & Properties Sdn Bhd ("YTLHP"), a direct wholly-owned subsidiary of YTL Corp has transferred its entire holding of 350,000 ordinary shares of RM1.00 each in Kampung Tiong Development Sdn Bhd ("KTD"), representing 70% of the issued and paid-up share capital of KTD to Syarikat Pembenaan Yeoh Tiong Lay Sdn Bhd ("SPYTL"), a direct wholly-owned subsidiary of YTL Corp, at par value per share in cash ("Shares Transfer").
As a result of the Shares Transfer, KTD has become a direct subsidiary of SPYTL and remains an indirect subsidiary of YTL Corp.
KTD was incorporated in Malaysia on 21 July 1987 and is principally engaged in property development.
The Shares Transfer is not expected to have any material effect on the earnings, net assets or gearing of the YTL Corp group for the financial year ending 30 June 2013.
