NOTICE TO THE MARKET
Acquisition of transformer plant in Betim, State of Minas Gerais/Brazil
WEG S.A. (B3: WEGE3 / OTC: WEGZY), announces to its shareholders and the general market an agreement with Transformadores e Serviços de Energia das Américas S.A. ("TSEA") for the acquisition of its transformer plant located in Betim, State of Minas Gerais.
Built in 2013, the factory has a total area of 32,500 square meters with state-of-the- art equipment and facilities. With a workforce of 250 employees, the unit specializes in manufacturing power transformers, shunt reactors and power autotransformers with voltage class up to 800kV and power up to 500MVA.
The transaction is subject to certain conditions and to the approval from the competition authorities (CADE - Administrative Council for Economic Defense).
