Trading Results 2017

In 2017, the total trading volume on the Ukrainian Exchange grew by 279,06 % YOY to UAH 13,398,823,100; the total number of transactions decreased by 21,50% and reached 107,948.

The total trading volume on the derivatives marketof the Ukrainian Exchange grew by 135,60YOY to UAH 3,168,883,741 (115,631 contracts); the total number of transactions reached 16,616.

The total trading volume on the securities marketgrew by 367,17% YOY to UAH 10,229,939,359; the total number of transactions decreased by 17,74 % and reached 91,332.

In 2017, equities marker became a volume leaded with total trading volume reaching UAH 1,719 million (12,83% of total trading volume); followed by derivatives market - UAH 3,169 million (23,65%) and investment certificate, bonds reached UAH 7,741 million (63,52%).

Trading Structure of the Ukrainian Exchange in 2017

At the end of the year 2017, the UX Indexcalculated by the Ukrainian Exchange grew by 71,27 % to 1 363,04 points.

In 2017, equities of government bonds (UA98469) became the turnover leader with the total trading volume reaching UAH 2,949,311,333, followed by stocks of Ministry of finance of Ukraine (UA99244) - UAH 1,507,421,341 and Ministry of finance of Ukraine (UA97396) - UAH 1,348,305,706. Their total turnover share reached 36,27 %, 18,54 % and 16,58 %, respectively.
