The USDA has released the January edition of its Grain Crushings and Co-Products Production report, announcing corn use for fuel alcohol production was up in November. Approximately 476 million bushels of corn was consumed for fuel alcohol production in November, up 1 percent from October and up 5 percent when compared to November 2016. Corn consumed in November for dry milling fuel production and wet milling fuel production was 90.2 percent and 9.78 percent, respectively. Read more
