Jan 4 (Reuters) - Traders of futures tied to the Federal Reserve's policy rate kept bets on Wednesday that the U.S. central bank will raise rates another half of a percentage point in coming months before pausing just shy of 5%.

Fed funds futures, which dipped only slightly after minutes of the Fed's most recent policy meeting were released, also continued to price in interest rate cuts in the second half of this year. The minutes showed no Fed policymakers thought that was likely. The current target range is 4.25%-4.5%. (Reporting by Ann Saphir Editing by Chris Reese)
