On Sunday, January 7, 2018, at 9:51 p.m., police received a call for a personal injury collision at Steeles Avenue East, east of Eastvale Drive.
It is reported that:
- a woman, 21, was attempting to cross Steeles Avenue East, east of Eastvale Drive
- a man, 62, was driving a 2006 Chevrolet Uplander westbound on Steeles Avenue East, east of Eastvale Drive
- the woman was struck as she attempted to cross the road
The woman received life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital where she was pronounced.
