Domestic producer price index (D-PPI) increased by 2.98% on monthly basis, by 9.94% on December of the previous year basis, by 9.94% on same month of the previous year basis and by 4.30% on the twelve months moving averages basis in December 2016.

D-PPI decreased by 0.25% for mining and stone quarrying, increased by 3.26% for manufacturing, increased by 1.35% for electricity and gas and increased by 0.54% for water supply compared with the previous month.

The highest monthly increase was in coke and refined petroleum products
The highest rates of monthly increase in D-PPI by sub divisions of industry were indices for coke and refined petroleum products by 17.58%, basic metals by 8.63%, metal ores by 3.96%. On the other hand the highest rates of monthly decrease in D-PPI by sub divisions of industry were indices for crude petroleum and natural gas by 6.01%, tobacco products by 2.52%, wood and products of wood and cork, except furniture by 0.34%.
The highest monthly increase in main industrial groupings was in energy goods
According to main industrial groupings classification in December 2016, the highest rate of monthly increase was in energy goods and the highest rate of annual increase was in intermediate goods.
