Reference is made to the Company's announcement
dated 17 January 2012 relating to the land
tender by Multi Wealth (Singapore) Pte Ltd for
a parcel of land at Jalan Lempeng in the
Republic of Singapore, the Board of Directors
of IOI Corp is pleased to provide the
additional information below:-
1. Basis and justification for the Tender
Consideration
The Tender Consideration of the Subject Land
was arrived at after taking into consideration
the open market value of the Subject Land and
similar properties in the locality by
comparison after making adjustments for
differences in location, size, neighbourhood,
amenities and other relevant factors.
2. Funding (breakdown of internally generated
funds and external borrowings)
The Tender Consideration and development cost
of the proposed development to be undertaken on
the Subject Land will be funded via a
combination of internally generated funds
and/or bank borrowings.
The gross development value and gross
development costs of the proposed development
have yet to be determined as the project
development plans are still at a very
preliminary stage, hence, the detailed
breakdown of internally generated funds and
external borrowings for the
Subject Land cannot also be ascertained at this
juncture.
3. The existing usage of the Subject Land
The Subject Land is a vacant land located at
Jalan Lempeng, off Clementi Avenue 6.
