Simbe Robotics, maker of Tally, the world's first robotic autonomous shelf auditing and analytics solution for retail, today announced that the NRF Foundation, the nonprofit arm of the National Retail Federation (NRF), is honoring Simbe CEO Brad Bogolea for Simbe’s technology and its impact on the retail industry. Brad was named as a “Disruptor” on The List of People Shaping Retail’s Future for 2017.

The NRF Foundation created the award to recognize true originals, rising stars, inspirational change-makers, champions of retail, and fearless leaders who are truly impacting the retail industry in inspiring and innovative ways. Brad and the other award winners will be honored at the NRF Foundation Gala on Sunday, January 15th as well as at the keynote at the NRF Big Show on Monday, January 16th at 3:15 PM.

“On behalf of myself and all my colleagues at Simbe, I am honored to receive this award along with the other accomplished and inspiring individuals that are forging innovation in retail,” said Brad Bogolea, CEO of Simbe Robotics. “The award validates our company’s mission of transforming retail through a combination of data and robotics.”

Tally works in concert with retail associates by arming them with information to ensure the store’s products are always stocked, in the right place, and displaying the correct price tag. The robot operates safely during normal store hours alongside shoppers and employees, and doesn’t require any infrastructure changes to the store.
