WASHINGTON, D.C. - U.S. Senator Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.) today announced she will serve on the U.S. Senate Energy and Natural Resources (ENR) Committee for the remainder of the 115th Congress. She will also continue to serve on the U.S. Senate Committees on Appropriations; Environment and Public Works (EPW); Commerce, Science, & Transportation; and Rules and Administration.

'I am thrilled to rejoin the Energy and Natural Resources Committee,' Senator Capito said. 'West Virginia is a state rich in resources that power our nation's homes, schools, small businesses, and hospitals. This committee assignment guarantees West Virginians a seat at the table when it comes to shaping policy related to energy resources and development. I look forward to working with both Republican and Democrat committee members to develop smart energy policy and advance projects like the Appalachian ethane storage hub that I have championed. A regional storage hub would have a tremendous and positive economic impact on Appalachian states, and I will continue to advocate for it and other critical West Virginia priorities as a member of the ENR Committee.'
