Segal Rogerscasey (www.segalrc.com) and Frontier Advisors (www.frontieradvisors.com.au), founding members of the Global Investment Research Alliance (GIRA) have welcomed LCP (www.lcp.uk.com) as its third member. GIRA was formed earlier in 2013 to share research on investment managers among member firms across global regions. In addition, the Alliance has formed a Global Investment Committee with members providing their perspective on economic and market influences. The Alliance, now covering North America, Australia and New Zealand, and the U.K. and Europe, plans to have a maximum of six members with additional firms covering South America, Asia, and the Middle East and Africa. Alliance members are independent firms operating in defined geographic areas and focused on delivering customized solutions for asset owners.

John DeMairo, President & CEO of Segal Rogerscasey, commented, "LCP has a longstanding record of achievement in consulting in the UK and Europe. Our actuarial colleagues at Sibson Consulting already work closely with LCP in the Multinational Group of Actuaries and Consultants and we are very pleased to welcome them to GIRA."

Damian Moloney, CEO of Frontier Advisors, added: "GIRA creates a synergy within the partnership in the way it adds to the existing strengths, insights and knowledge base of each member firm. Ultimately, that improves outcomes for clients' investment portfolios. The addition of LCP strengthens what is developing into a formidable alliance."

Gavin Orpin, Head of Trustee Investment Consulting at LCP, stated: "Our goal is to provide the best global research to increase our clients' investment performance. Joining GIRA is beneficial for our clients as it enables more opportunities to be utilised. We're delighted to be a part of this initiative and look forward to working with the other members of the Alliance in the years to come."

In addition to consulting activities, the Alliance holds periodic forums to discuss global investment trends, client issues, and capital market directions.
