West Hartford Resident is Senior Vice President & Regional Executive for the Bank's Western Commercial Team

SOUTH WINDSOR, CONN., January 14, 2013 - In the ongoing and exciting effort by Rockville Bank to build a first class, full-service team to lead the Bank's West Hartford Banking Center, William (Bill) H. W. Crawford, IV, President and Chief Executive Officer of Rockville Bank and Rockville Financial, Inc. (RCKB), today proudly announced that Josh Gorman of West Hartford has taken on the important role of Senior Vice President and Regional Executive, running the Bank's Western Commercial Banking Team.

He will be based in Rockville Bank's soon-to-be-opened West Hartford Banking Center at 102 LaSalle Road. Rockville Bank's West Hartford Banking Center will be located at 102 LaSalle Road in West Hartford. It will occupy the same building as the U.S. Post Office, which will continue to operate there. The Banking Center will also have its own public entrance, free parking spaces designated for Rockville Bank customers only, a convenient drive-up teller window and an ATM.

Gorman joined Rockville Bank in November after most recently serving as Senior Vice President for Bank of America/Merrill Lynch. He also served eight years with Wachovia National Bank as Vice President and Senior Producing Leader.

"Having the special opportunity to have someone of Josh's caliber and industry experience lead our commercial banking business in West Hartford shows that Rockville Bank has established a banking team that is best-in-class and committed to providing all customers with a topnotch banking experience," said Crawford. "I became very familiar with Josh while at Wachovia at the same time and the strong reputation he has earned in the commercial market. He has achieved a long list of successes in managing business client relationships and I am confident he will produce the same results and enjoy similar success at Rockville Bank."

"Josh, along with Mary Chase and the rest of the West Hartford Team, truly have decades of West Hartford banking experience in their respective lines of business. That is why our West Hartford location will be a one-stop, full-service experience for people and businesses west of the Connecticut River who choose to do their banking with Rockville Bank," Crawford added.

"This is an exciting time for Rockville Bank as it opens its first 'Banking Center' west of the river. It's not just the West Hartford Team but employees at every level of Rockville Bank who are committed to making this location an overwhelming success," said Gorman. "I am eager to open the doors in the coming weeks and welcome new customers who I believe will be introduced to a banking experience like no other in the area," said Gorman.

In addition to Gorman's years of banking experience, he dedicates his extra time to various community organizations, including the West Hartford Chamber of Commerce, the MS Walk and the YMCA.

The Rockville Bank West Hartford Banking Center will be their second location west of the Connecticut River. The Bank opened a New Haven County Commercial Banking Office in Hamden in 2011.
