THE WINCHENDON SCHOOL: The Ritchie Hockey Foundation, a non-profit scholarship fund established posthumously to honor Jason Ritchie, a beloved Winchendon School student and athlete who was tragically killed in a 2009 car accident, will host the Third Annual Boston Bruins Alumni vs. Winchendon/Ritchie Foundation All Stars Game on Saturday, February 7, 2015. Proceeds benefit the Jason Ritchie ‘05 Memorial Scholarship, an annual scholarship given to a deserving Winchendon student hockey player.
Bruins legends such as Ray Bourque, Rick Middleton, Terry O’Reilly, Bob Sweeney, Tim Sweeney, and Andy Brickley will be hitting the ice for our student athletes!
Who: The Ritchie Hockey Scholarship Foundation’s mission is to provide resources and mentoring to deserving young hockey players who share in Jason’s drive and dedication. The Boston Bruins Alumni team is a non-profit organization made up of past players of the Boston Bruins, including the legendary Ray Bourque.
What: Legends from the Boston Bruins Alumni hit the ice to raise funds for student athletes, including 2015 scholarship recipient, Winchendon School senior, Adam LeTarte ‘15.

5:00 p.m. -7:00 p.m. - Winchendon School/Ritchie Hockey Foundation All-Stars vs. Boston Bruins Alumni
Where: The Winchendon School Ritchie Arena, 172 Ash Street, Winchendon, MA
Why: Participation in youth hockey promotes character, commitment, teamwork, persistence, selflessness, and sportsmanship. The Ritchie Hockey Foundation is committed to providing tools, training, and resources that allow young people to continue growing through hockey. The Boston Bruins Alumni Hockey game is the largest fundraiser for the Ritchie Foundation. The goal is to raise $150,000 through the February 7, 2015 game.
