BALTIMORE, Jan. 16, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The Public Relations Society of America Maryland Chapter has named its 2014 Board of Directors whose goal is to move the organization forward in the new year and increase the value of membership.

The board will consist of:
President - Craig Campbell
President-Elect - Laurie Farrell, APR
Vice President - Anita Brightman, APR
Secretary - Robert Hunter IV
Treasurer - Garrett Berberich
Director at Large - Chris Stevens
Director at Large - Marc Apter, APR

"Craig's leadership and knowledge of public relations makes him the ideal person to serve as PRSA Maryland's board president," said Immediate Past President Nneka Jenkins, who served two terms as chapter president. "I know he'll work tirelessly on behalf of the chapter to ensure we remain viable to our members.

"I want to thank the 2013 Board of Directors and our committee chairs and members for sharing their time and expertise," Jenkins added. "Their vision and dedication have been paramount to the success of our organization."

Campbell, who has worked in the public affairs office of the U.S. Army's Chemical Materials Agency since 1996, enjoys reading, wood burning and doing wood crafts. He has lived in various places around the world, but has made Maryland his home for the past 14 years. He's eager to take the reins at PRSA Maryland recognizing that he'll have big shoes to fill.
