Caracas.- The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela Nicolás Maduro replaced some of the chiefs of the Production Drivers of the Bolivarian Economic Agenda. He made the announcement at a meeting of the National Council on Productive Economy held in Miraflores Palace.

The President of Petróleos de Venezuela, S.A. (PDVSA) Eulogio Del Pino, will remain at the head of the Hydrocarbons Economic Driver 'to continue making progress in all investment plans', said Maduro.

The Petrochemicals Economic Driver was assigned to the People's Power Minister of Petroleum Nelson Martínez. President Maduro referred to him as 'someone who is well trained in business, who comes from Citgo. He is a man of great commitment and great ability'.

President Maduro also commended Eulogio Del Pino for the historic agreement reached between OPEC and non OPEC countries late last year. 'The Venezuelan oil has been recovering steadily. The basket closed at 46 dollars with 37 cents, consolidating the agreement that went into effect this year', he said while expressing his willingness to meet again to discuss and decide on a new price setting mechanism.
