Toronto, January 8, 2013 - Onex Corporation ("Onex") (TSX: OCX) today announced the promotion of Josh Hausman to Managing Director. Mr. Hausman, who joined Onex in 2004, previously held the position of Principal and has been an important part of the investment teams

responsible for many of Onex' healthcare investments, including Emergency Medical Services and ResCare. Mr. Hausman will continue to lead
Onex' efforts in the Technology sector from the firm's New York office.
Prior to joining Onex, Mr. Hausman worked in the Healthcare Investment Banking group at Bank of America, where he provided capital raising and advisory services to healthcare companies. He holds an A.B., Economics (cum laude), from Harvard College.
