By The Board would like to inform that Bina Puri Holdings Bhd. ("BPHB") has disposed of 21% equity interest in BP Energy Sdn. Bhd. (940700-V) (formerly known as BPHB Tim Sekata JV Sdn. Bhd.) for cash consideration of RM21.00 only. The details of BP Energy Sdn. Bhd. are stated below:-
Authorised capital: RM100,000.00
Issued and paid-up capital: RM100.00 consisting of 100 ordinary shares of RM1.00 each
Date of disposal: 12 January 2012
Transferees: Dato' Mohd Zaharil Bin Kasim (purchased one share for RM1.00 only) and Pn. Rosita Binti Mohamed Nor (purchased twenty shares for RM20.00 only)
BP Energy Sdn. Bhd. has ceased to be a subsidiary of BPHB after the disposal but has become a 49% associated company.
The acquisition is not expected to have any material effect on the earnings of Bina Puri Group for the financial year ending 31 December 2012.
