Industrial production lower at the monthly level

In November 2019 the value of industrial production was 1.1% lower than in October 2019 and 1.2% higher than in November 2018.

Only in electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply did the value of industrial production slightly grow at the monthly level (by 0.1%). In manufacturing and in mining and quarrying the value of industrial production declined (by 1.2% and 5.6%, respectively).

As regards main industrial groupings, the value of industrial production in capital goods industries was higher (by 1.7%), while in intermediate goods industries and in consumer goods industries it was lower (by 1.4% and 3.6%, respectively).

Turnover lower, the value of stocks in industry slightly higher at the monthly level

In November 2019 turnover in industry was 0.7% lower at the monthly level and 2.3% higher at the annual level.

Turnover in industry declined at the monthly level due to lower turnover in the non-domestic market; it declined by 2.8%. Turnover in the domestic market grew by 1.1%.

The value of stocks in industrial production was higher at the monthly and the annual level (by 0.2% and 3.5%, respectively). In manufacturing it was 0.2% higher and in mining and quarrying 12.1% lower than in the previous month.
