The local growth in Oklahoma City is driven by Brad Rodman, a current franchisee, in partnership with the Chunara Group of Companies, a private equity group based out of Atlanta, which currently has ownership in over 100 locations across the following brands - Dunkin’, Checkers, Church’s Chicken, Popeyes, Take 5 Oil Change, Stoners Pizza, Kale Me Crazy, and TGI Fridays.

“We are excited to be joining a brand that has great unit economics, low start-up costs and low ongoing operating costs with an intent on serving a wide array of consumers looking for a dependable place to find a pair of glasses, contacts, and other eye wear,” said Shehzaan Chunara, Vice President of Chunara Group of Companies. “This is a game changing brand which will be at the forefront of telemedicine for optical needs, and we believe telehealth to be a huge part of the future.”

Under the leadership of founder and CEO Daniel Stanton, My Eyelab is a retail brand of Now Optics, which also includes Stanton Optical. My Eyelab has led the optical industry in ocular telehealth by leveraging proprietary innovative telehealth technology to provide patients with affordable and convenient eye exams, eyeglasses, and contact lenses. Tapping into its remote network of affiliated doctors, to date the company has conducted more than 1.2 million telehealth eye exams, something no other optical retailer can offer in Oklahoma. Moreover, the COVID-19 pandemic has not hindered My Eyelab’s success, as its proprietary telehealth technology minimizes the risk without compromising quality eye care.

On top of that, an assortment of over 2,000 frames and top contact lens brands to fit both style and budgets allows consumers the ultimate freedom to experiment with unique, stylish designs that fit their personal style. For convenience, My Eyelab accepts both same day appointments and walk-ins for your eye exams and eyewear needs.

With bilingual staff at the Norman and S MacArthur locations, hours for the new Oklahoma optical stores are 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Sunday. For more information or to schedule an appointment go to www.myeyelab.com.
